Website Design

Recently, Polly Plumb Productions in Yachats, OR asked us to design another website for them.

The project was to redesign the Yachats Celtic Music Festival site. We are not quite complete – still waiting for some more content. We did have enough to go live with the site.

We also created a newsletter via Mailchimp.

The site has already had a great deal of activity and interest.

It was an honor to be asked to design a website for the Yachats Ladies Club here in Yachats, OR. I was given “free range” to design this website – and oh that was fun for me! I wanted the site to reflect that the club began in 1927 and it was an all women’s club. There’s nothing masculine here!

I chose a font style that represented the 1920s and 30s and incorporated their images, and even though they gave me clip art, it still was a part of the club history. I cleaned up the old images, which had been photocopied throughout the years and colorized. We didn’t want to lose any of their long history and needed to maintain a familiar and comfortable feel.
